Dry-Brush
(1) Pine-handled brush with boar hair bristles. Packaged in a reusable cotton muslin bag.
Do you dry brush? It’s one of my absolute favorite self-care rituals.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the surface (literally), it exfoliates the skin, but on a deeper level, it stimulates circulation, helps move the lymph, and supports healthy detoxification.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The lymph is an antibody-filled fluid in our body that lives just below the skin's surface. Unlike our circulatory system, which has the heart to pump the blood, the lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump and requires our movement to circulate the lymph.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Doing practices like dry-brushing helps stimulate this movement. Plus, turning to lymphatic herbs like Calendula and Red Clover (like in our Nourishmint Tea and Golden Hour Tea) help keep the fluid thin, thus flowing more easily.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In addition, dry-brushing leaves you feeling invigorated afterward, and it can be accomplished quickly if you are short on time. I like doing it quickly before a shower.

I hope you can add this to your daily routine, and if you do, please let me know what you think!
